Expected School-Wide Learning Results

Upon completion of the Merced Scholars Charter School our students will be:

ESLR 1: Academic Achievers who:

  1. Demonstrate mastery of curriculum aligned to academic standards
  2. Speak, read write, and listen reflectively and critically
  3. Calculate with accuracy and clarity
  4. Are prepared to successfully pursue post-secondary education
  5. Access resources that enable them to make informed career choices
  6. Effectively utilize technology

 

ESLR 2: Socially Responsible Citizens who:

  1. Cultural awareness and appreciation of diversity
  2. Responsibility, integrity and respect for others
  3. The ability to work as part of a team
  4. Leadership and service within their community

ESLR 3: Self-directed Learners who:

  1. Develop and monitor personal education and career goals
  2. Are committed to learning new skills and adapting to change

ESLR 4: Critical Thinkers who:

  1. Identify and use resources effectively
  2. Apply innovative solutions to complex problems Understand social and work-related systems
