College Links
Merced Scholars Charter School has developed a partnership with Merced College that is very beneficial to those students who are “college ready.” It gives MSCS students the opportunity to enroll in college courses FREE of tuition PLUS earn high school credits towards graduation.
Information regarding the Merced College Partnership:
- 20% of 07/08 students were co-enrolled at Merced College while taking high school courses
- Merced College guidance services available at MSCS
- Accuplacer & Lassi assessment given through Merced College for college placement
Information regarding the college-going rate of MSCS students:
- 100% of 2008 graduates are continuing their education
- On average for the last four years, 35% of students enrolled in two-year institutions, 28% of students enrolled in four-year institutions
- 84% of all MSCS graduates have continued their education since 04/05
